How To Earn Extra Cash With Drop

Do you want to earn points just for purchasing things that you normally already purchase on a daily or weekly basis?

If you’re looking for a great way to save money without lifting a finger, you’ll want to check out this opportunity to earn extra cash with Drop!

What Is Drop?

Drop is a smartphone app available to iOS and Android that rewards you with a variety of points for purchases that you frequently make at your favorite brands and stores, online and offline.

So whether you purchase from Walmart or Starbucks on a regular basis, you’ll get points rewarded just for buying things you normally already purchase (on top of loyalty rewards or credit card points you already get!)

The number of points you earn will vary from store to store for every $1 that you spend.

How Drop Works

It’s really quite simple.

All you need to do is link your credit cards and/or debit cards that you use most frequently to your Drop account.

You’ll then be given a choice of 2 Power Offers to add to your account.  They have a whole list to choose from so there’s definitely something for you.

Once you get your account set up with your linked card, every time you use the specific cards that you linked, you’ll get points for each transaction at the stores that you chose automatically without having to lift a finger.

It’s a great way to just earn extra cash without even thinking about it since you’re buying from stores you regularly purchase from.

Pro Tip: Make sure the Power offers you set are carefully chosen because you can’t change them once they’re set.  Drop may change this feature in the future but for now, choose carefully just to be safe!

How Many Points Will I Earn?

The number of points you earn per transaction depends on the number of points given per $1 spent.  This will vary for store to store.

Check out these popular stores that give you back a ton of points:

  • Postmates 100 points per $1 (10% back)
  • Sephora 60 points per $1 (6% back)
  • Expedia 40 points per $1 (4% back)
  • Lululemon 40 points per $1 (4% back)
  • Dollar Shave Club $10 (one time offer)

From time to time, they even have promotions for certain stores so you’ll earn bonus points for each transaction during a period of time.  Sometimes you can get thousands of additional points for purchasing over a certain dollar amount, which is pretty amazing.

Supercharge

Drop also has a super cool feature called Supercharge where once you have completed 5 transactions, you get to play a game of snake that allows you to collect bonus points.

If you’re really good at the game, you can earn up to 999 points just for completing 5 transactions!

Rewards Payout

Once you accumulate a certain number of points, you can redeem your points for an e-gift card from a variety of stores of your choice, such as Netflix, Sephora, Starbucks, Zara, Amazon, and so much more!  Some e-gift cards can be redeemed for as low as 25,000 points.

Both the Supercharge bonus game and periodic promotions can really help you speed up the redemption process so definitely take advantage of them!
